There are a number of Zooming options on TikTok and they come in and out of fashion as the wind of trends blows in various directions. We discussed how to Zoom in and Out in another tutorial, and we also discussed the Zoom filters available which is the trending zooming in-out repeatedly filter.
Here we will delve into more detail about that filter, but we will also discuss the filter that most people currently consider the trending Zoom Filter on TikTok, this is the Face Zoom or alternatively also named the Face Tracker by avid users.
This filter focuses on your face continually if you are in selfie mode, even if you turn your head or if you move the camera. A lot of TikTokers are particularly enjoying an eye trick that the effect produces due to the fact that the front camera utilizes a wide-angle – if you move the phone away from your face then slowly bring it forward many people find that they look different using the effect and really seem to enjoy it! After the tutorial below you’ll be able to try it for yourself.
You can also use the effect on your back camera if you are filming others or using a stand. We will be showing the back camera using a cartoonish figure we’ll name Alfred.
