For all the Android smartphones you press the power button for a few seconds and turn it off from the menu. But in the case of Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and 10 plus, it is different. Samsung has brought a new tool, the Bixby Virtual Assistant. When you press the button for a few seconds the Bixby assistant is launched.
Samsung introduced a new key combination for Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and 10 plus to launch the power menu. Instead of pressing and holding the Side key or power button, you need to press and hold the power key and the volume key side by side for a few seconds.
This will launch the power menu, and now you need to tap on the option “Power off” to turn off your Samsung Galaxy Note 10.

You can also change the behavior of long pressing the power key, and it will help you jump right into the power menu instead of launching through Bixby.
First, you need to swipe down from the top of your screen and bring the notification shade in front of you. Now you need to tap on the gear icon which you can see in the top right corner of the screen; it will open the setting menu.
Now locate the “advanced features” and tap.
Select “Side key”.
Here you can select the “Power off menu” instead of the default behavior of long pressing the power button and for double pressing it.
Alternatively, you can access the Side button menu by swiping down on the notification shade, tapping the power icon, and selecting “Side key settings”. You can then choose “Power off menu” as the press and hold action.

If you are unable to turn off your handset with physical buttons, you can also use a shortcut to the power menu.
What you need to do is scroll down from the top of your screen and bring on the notification shade. After that tap on the power icon, you can find it in the top right corner.
This will lead you to the power menu, tap on “Power off” and turn off your device.
How to turn off Samsung Galaxy Note 10 with Bixby
There is another option you can use to turn your Samsung Galaxy Note 10 or 10 Plus to turn off. The first thing you need to do is launch Bixby. If you are still using the default behavior of the power key, it will launch Bixby once you long-press it. Now you need to speak and say, “Turn off the phone”, it will turn your phone off.
Bixby can also be launched from the home screen. You need to swipe to the rightmost home screen. There is a Bixby icon, tap on the icon and say, “turn off the phone”.
