Taking a screenshot on the Samsung Galaxy S6 is simple once you know how. You can also use apps from external developers for more features, but the main method is in most cases more than enough.
Actually it is one act that you can handle with one hand if you are skilled enough. It involves the use of the home button and the power button. Okay, here we go.
- Select the screen where you want to take a screenshot of
- Hold the home button and the power button at the same time for a few seconds
- There will be a short animation and camera sound once the screenshot has been made
That’s it, that’s how you take a screenshot on the Samsung Galaxy S6 of your screen. Once the screenshot has been made a small popup in the bottom will pop where you can choose to make a scroll capture (a screenshot of a full webpage for example), draw, crop or share the image. Of course, you can find your fresh taken screenshot in the Gallery under the Screenshots tab. You can find the image on the file system under the /pictures/screenshots directory.
It definitely takes a few tries before you master how to take a screenshot instead of opening the Google Assistant or returning to your home screen. Everything goes better with practice, good luck.
