Although Facebook is a great way to connect with our friends and family members and share wonderful memories, sometimes we simply need to take a break from social media by signing out our profile. Other times, the reason for logging out might simply be the fact that we want to log in with a different account, or even the knowledge that we remained signed in on a device we’re not currently using.
Regardless of your reasons, here are some ways you can quickly and easily log out of your Facebook account while using an Android device:
Signing out of your Facebook profile on your current device
In case you just wish to sign out of the Facebook application on the current Android phone or tablet you are using, you can do so by following these steps:
- Load the Facebook application on your device.
- On the homepage, open the Menu (three-line icon).
- Here, simply scroll until you come to the end of the menu, and then press the Log Out option.
- Finally, press Log Out once again to confirm your decision, and you will then be logged out of your profile on your Facebook mobile app.
Signing out of your Facebook profile on all your devices
If you’re currently using an Android device, but you want to log out of your Facebook profile on all your devices, or you simply want to log out of another device remotely, you have the option of doing that as well. Here’s how:
- Load the Facebook application on your device.
- On the homepage, open the Menu (three-line icon).
- Here, select the Settings & Privacy option, and then go to Settings.
- Locate the Security segment, and then press Security and Login.
- Here, you will see a ‘Where you’re logged in’ segment, along with the names of specific devices you are currently logged in to.
- To log out of any of those accounts, simply press the three dots next to the specific device, and then press Log Out.
- Repeat this same process for all other specific devices you want to log out of.
And that’s it; whether you want to sign out of your Facebook profile on only one or even all of your devices, you can easily do so on your Android phone or tablet by following the guide above.
