FAQs
Why would I want to delete my Pornhub account?
Watching porn for purposes of entertainment, arousal, self-discovery and/or mutual satisfaction is completely commonplace in modern society. One might go so far as to say that it’s perfectly normal, and can be healthy to some extent.
However, even the most experienced viewers of porn know that what is represented on-screen is rarely replicated in real life. In other words, watching too much pornography can give us unhealthy and unrealistic expectations of what to expect from ourselves and our sexual partners, if not also helping to foster misogynistic tendencies.
Porn can be extremely addictive, and breaking that addiction can seem near-impossible. Deleting your pornhub account may be one of the first important steps you take to improving both your approach to sex and your mental health.
Of course, it’s equally likely that you just don’t want to pay for a Premium account anymore, though you still intend to continue watching porn. Or, maybe you’re simply taking a break from porn (i.e. during “No Nut November”), and don’t want the temptation of your Pornhub account distracting you.
Why would I have a Pornhub account in the first place?
Pornhub is one of the world’s most popular free pornography sites, with hundreds of thousands of pornographic videos catering to a range of sexualities, sexual preferences, and sexual kinks. However, there is also the option to build your own account on Pornhub, rather than just visiting as a ‘guest’ when the mood takes you.
Having an account on Pornhub (whether Free or Premium) allows you to curate in far greater detail your pornography preferences, your ‘Taste Profile’, saving videos you’ve previously enjoyed to rewatch at a later date, and generally enhancing your porn experience.
Additionally, you can upgrade a Pornbhub account to a ‘Premium’ account, giving you access to exclusive videos, 4K resolution, VR videos and much more. As a Pornhub account holder, you can also upload your own videos to share with the wider porn-watching community.
Can I recover an accidentally deleted Pornhub account?
Unfortunately not. The decision to delete your Pornhub account is final, and doing so will delete all information stored on you by Pornhub. As such, make sure that you’ve fully thought through your decision to delete your account before doing so (whilst also remembering that you can always create a new one in future, should you change your mind).
Will deleting my Pornhub account also delete my Pornhub search history and preferences?
When you delete your Pornhub account, you are deleting all of your saved preferences, your attachment to any personally-uploaded videos, your ‘Taste Profile’ and all of the saved videos you have stored on your Pornhub account.
However, deleting your account will not delete your search history from the browser you use to watch porn on Pornhub. To do this, you must go into your Browsing History (hit the three vertical dots in the top right corner of your browser, then select ‘History’, and manually select and delete all of the tab records of your porn-viewing which you don’t want anyone else to see.
Will deleting my Pornhub account also delete my Pornhub Premium subscription?
Yes. If you have a Pornhub Premium subscription, then deleting your account will automatically cancel your subscription, however it will still technically be active until the end of the billed month.
