Poshmark is an online marketplace allowing users to buy and sell second-hand items. If you have a lot of old clothing, you may find that you can make a nice penny selling it if it is in good condition or if you have vintage items.
If you’ve now sold everything and are ready to start your minimalist lifestyle with only 15 pieces of clothing in your wardrobe you may find that part of the decluttering process also includes closing a variety of online accounts and this may include Poshmark.
If we really had to guess why you want to delete your account though, it’s likely because you use Poshmark to buy stuff and have spent too much of your hard-earned cash finding your bank account in need of a break.
Deleting your account is relatively easy and can be done either from your mobile device or a computer. It is however important to note that you need to send a separate request to delete your data as the company may keep some information about you after you’ve deleted your account if you don’t.
Before deleting your account via any method make sure to clear all your pending transactions and redeeming your balance if you’ve sold any items. Poshmark cannot delete your account before you do this. Needless to say, any activity on your account such as listings, or watched/ saved items will be deleted from the account.
Below we will discuss how to delete your account on the mobile app or a computer and how to request that your data is deleted as well if you’re looking to delete your online footprint.

Requesting That Data Associated with Your account is Deleted
As discussed in the introduction, Poshmark may keep various types of data about you such as your buying, selling, or browsing habits that they can then use for other purposes even after you’ve deleted your account. To ensure all your data is deleted you need to send them a request via this page. Once they receive and process the request you will be sent an email to verify that your request is completed.
