How to Clear Cookies in Google Chrome

When you use Google Chrome for surfing the internet, this browser, just like many others, tends to store relevant information gathered from websites in the form of cookies and cache. This information can add up quite quickly, and can sometimes lead to loading and formatting issues on certain websites.

If you want to improve your browsing experience, here’s how you can clear cookies in Google Chrome:

What happens when you clear cookies in Google Chrome?

As already mentioned, Google Chrome sometimes saves (or remembers) data collected from certain websites in the form of cookies and cache. While cache data is related to the website itself, cookies actually save the user’s (your) browsing data.

When you clear cookies from Google Chrome, all of your browsing information will be deleted. This means that any email addresses, passwords, and other information you might have previously entered on a website will no longer be remembered (and auto-filled) and will have to be re-entered once again. However, you most likely won’t be logged out of your Google account.

With just a few quick and simple steps, the cookies you have stored in Google Chrome can easily be cleared, regardless of the device you’re using.
